THE 2025 SEASON IS UNDERWAY

As in the past few years we have been overwhelmed with demand for the limited number of free public trips. This season, due to Gateway Tunnel construction opposite Pier 66 and its effect on tidal currents at the pier, the number of public trips will be less than in previous seasons.

To manage the demand we ask that you schedule no more than one trip per season. The maximum size of each party will be limited to four people. We will continue with the policy of requiring a $20 pp deposit, refundable on board.

Remember that we are a small non-profit with an all-volunteer staff and crew offering free trips to the public. We cannot offer the type of schedule that a commercial cruise company does. For the safety of all, the number of passengers is strictly limited and reservations are closed once we reach reach our limit. We do not keep a waiting list although on rare occasions standbys can be accommodated. And we cannot hope to respond to the large number of emails requesting special consideration.

Above all, we ask for your understanding and patience. Again, we are all volunteers helping to preserve and maintain a historic vessel.
